Joe Wicks, The Body Coach, is bringing his unique brand of exercise and nutrition to Channel 4, enrolling Brits to join his fitness revolution.  In Joe’s world, leanness is for life, not just for summer.  But with holidays as a goal, he’ll be training people over 30, 60 or 90 days, to see just what can be achieved when you put your mind and body to it, the Wicks way.

Commissioned by Channel 4 and made by Full Fat TV, the show is already looking for members of the public who want to be part of Joe’s fitness revolution.

Joe Wicks says: “ 2016 has been amazing for me so far – I have a massive number 1 book, sold over half a million copies, I’ve helped get loads of people lean and now I’m gonna be on the telly, in my own show. It’s wonderful and crazy in equal measures and I’m the happiest guy on the planet right now”.

The announcement follows the incredible success of Joe’s debut book ‘Lean in 15’ which dominated the first quarter of 2016; having spent 8 weeks at number one and selling over half a million copies in the UK.

There are only 11 other titles to have sold this many in such a small timeframe; they include Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Fifty Shades of Grey and Jamie Oliver’s 30 Minute Meals.

Having spent 8 weeks at the top of the charts, Lean in 15 became the longest running title at Number 1 since ‘The Fault in our Stars’ in the summer of 2014.

Lean in 15 has entered the top 20 bestselling cookery titles since records began, to join only four other authors in the chart: Jamie Oliver, Delia Smith, Nigella and The Hairy Bikers.

Lean in 15 is also claims the title of the longest consecutive Number 1 run for a non-fiction title since Jamie Oliver’s 30-Minute Meals in 2010.

The phenomenal new stats build on Joe’s already impressive Lean in 15 successes, as he also holds the title for the most cookery book first-week sales in a decade.

With Lean in 15 rights being snapped up worldwide, the book will be published in the US in May ahead of the UK publication of Joe’s second book in June. It’s also been translated into 13 languages including German, Finnish, Slovakian, Norweigan, Polish, Spanish and Portuguese.

A hugely exciting time for the social media megastar, Joe has praised his “leanie” fanbase for their support, some of whom have followed him since 2013 on social media and have allowed him to run his own business with the 90 day Shape Shift and Sustain Plan.
